IDR is seeking a GIS Architect to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Denver, Minneapolis, or Amarillo. This role is ideal for a seasoned architect with experience in GIS solutions within large-scale and distributed organizations. The company specializes in delivering innovative and integrated technology solutions across various industries.
Position Overview for the GIS Architect:
- Lead the design and delivery of enterprise technical solutions aligned with organizational goals
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to develop scalable and efficient architectures
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams throughout the SDLC
- Ensure architectural standards and best practices are maintained across projects
- Integrate GIS solutions, including Smallworld and ESRI, into comprehensive enterprise systems
Requirements for the GIS Architect:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of work experience, preferably in a nationally or globally distributed organization
- 6+ years of work experience delivering GIS solutions in Smallworld and/or ESRI
- 3+ years developing technical solutions with stacks such as MEAN, LAMP, or Microsoft .NET
- 3+ years SQL Server experience with Relational Database Management Systems (RDMS) such as Oracle or MSQL

Compensation Details: $83-88/hr W2
