IDR is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in the Sioux Falls, SD area. This is an exciting role where you will be integral to the credentialing process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of applications to maintain compliance and provide excellent service to providers.
Responsibilities of the Credentialing Specialist:
- Overseeing the timelines and workflow processing of the reappointment cycles; prioritizing work to meet anticipated start dates and reappointment expiration
- Accountable for the completeness and identifying issues requiring additional information or investigation on applications
- Overseeing the accuracy of application data entry and verification requests; performing the final review of processed verifications for quality and content
- Facilitating Committees in preparation of agenda materials and follow-up of recommendations
Requirements of the Credentialing Specialist:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in credentialing within the medical or insurance fields.
- At least 2 years of customer service experience, demonstrating exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in overseeing workflows and timelines for credentialing processes.
- Proficiency in conducting audits and generating reports related to credentialing.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in credentialing are a plus.
